Houlette Marketing Group
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Houlette Marketing Group collects, uses and handles personal information through houlettemarketing.com, website inquiries, marketing questionnaires, appointment bookings and related communications in connection with our SEO, website development, CRM and marketing services. It does not replace a separate agreement for client services or the policies of external websites.
Information we collect
You may provide your name, business name, email address, phone number, website URL, service interests, business challenges, referral source, appointment details and other information you choose to include in forms or communications. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial or health information through our general website forms or chat.
We also collect communication preferences and, when you actively opt in to SMS, your consent choice, phone number, a timestamp, the source of the consent and the exact consent language presented. An unchecked SMS checkbox is not permission to send marketing texts.
Our website and service providers may receive technical and usage information such as IP address, browser/device information, visited pages, cookies, referring websites and campaign tracking parameters. Google Analytics is used to understand website activity. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking them may affect some website or booking features.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate requested services, manage appointments, provide services, maintain records, improve the website and customer experience, prevent misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. We may use referral and campaign information to understand how visitors found us.
We may send service-related emails, inquiry responses or booking communications. Automated appointment messages and marketing follow-up may be sent through our CRM and communication providers where permitted by law and your choices. Marketing SMS requires an affirmative opt-in; booking an appointment does not itself grant SMS marketing permission. SMS consent does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email. Marketing email, where applicable, includes an unsubscribe option.
GoHighLevel and other service providers
We use GoHighLevel for contact management (CRM), questionnaire records, contact notes and appointment scheduling. Information provided through the questionnaire may be saved to a contact record even if you do not finish booking an appointment. The embedded GoHighLevel calendar collects booking information under its applicable terms and privacy practices.
Information may be processed by service providers supporting website hosting, analytics, CRM, scheduling, email, text-message delivery and AI-assisted website chat. Chat questions may be processed by an AI provider to generate a response; chat is not a confidential channel or a guarantee of direct contact with our team. These providers receive information needed for the services they perform.
Sharing and mobile consent
SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone numbers collected for SMS will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell this information. It is shared only with messaging and CRM service providers as needed to deliver and support our text messages, or when required by law. Such processing is not permission for those providers to use your consent for their own marketing.
Other information may be disclosed to service providers performing services for us, to comply with law or valid legal requests, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections.
SMS data handling
Our contact, audit and booking forms offer two separate, optional, unchecked SMS consent checkboxes: one for appointment confirmations, reminders and informational messages, and one for promotional marketing messages. Each affirmative choice is stored separately in our CRM with the date and time, the form where it was given, the exact consent language and the version of the disclosure shown. Unchecked choices are not recorded as opt-ins and do not overwrite existing consent. We never opt you into promotional texts automatically, and agreeing to informational texts does not enroll you in marketing texts.
SMS data (your mobile number, consent choices and message history) is used only to send the messages you agreed to, honor opt-outs and keep compliance records.
Optional SMS programs and your choices
If you actively check one or both SMS boxes and provide a valid mobile number, you agree to receive the matching automated texts from Houlette Marketing Group: appointment confirmations, reminders and informational messages, promotional marketing messages, or both. Consent is not required to submit a form, book an appointment or purchase services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for assistance. You can also contact us using the details below. Opt-out requests are honored according to applicable law and provider requirements; a non-marketing opt-out confirmation may be sent. Previously recorded opt-outs and messaging restrictions are not removed by this website. Leaving a later checkbox unchecked does not erase an earlier consent record; use STOP or contact us to withdraw consent.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the message’s unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still respond to your request or send permitted non-marketing communications necessary for an active service relationship.
Retention and security
We retain information and consent records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, business records, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. Retention varies by information type and service provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Privacy requests and children
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, or changes to your communication preferences, by contacting us. We may verify your identity and retain information when required or permitted by law. Additional rights may apply under the laws of your state; this policy does not limit those rights.
Our business services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The updated date appears above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
